Thank you so much for the opportunity to lead chapel for the students yesterday. I have only met the students twice, but on both occasions I was very impressed with their engagement, knowledge of scripture, and enthusiasm. The children listened well, asked excellent questions, and sang out with joy (even though it was sports day!). I enjoyed my time with them immensely; it really makes a difference when the children actively participate in lessons.
Thank you, again, for making me feel welcome in Whitford. I look forward to more lessons with you and the children!

Good evening Mr Griffiths, I hope you are well and have been able to enjoy some of this glorious sunshine this weekend.
Please accept my apologies as I am unable to attend the above meeting tomorrow due to work commitments. However may I take this opportunity to wish you a very successful school inspection this week. Ysgol y Llan is an amazing school, with the most incredible teachers under the leadership of a great Head. I'm sure the Inspectors will recognise this within a matter of minutes tomorrow just by seeing how happy the children are and how well they are achieving.

We just wanted to say a big thank you to all of the staff at Ysgol Y Llan for all of work they have clearly put in with the children for the concerts, Christmas Fair and the Carols.
We are new to the whole school routine and are very much looking forward to the next few years whilst Lewis is with you.

Just a note to say how much we enjoyed the Christmas performance this evening. Thanks to all the staff and pupils for their hard work, brilliant singing and entertaining. We know how much goes on 'behind the scenes' to make these events happen.

Dear Mr Griffiths,
I just had to write to let you know how much I enjoyed watching the Ysgol Y Llan choir at the Choral Festival in Venue Cymru last Friday. They took to the stage without hesitation and looked very smart in their matching polo shirts. They did a marvellous job and looked like they really enjoyed themselves.
A special thank you also to Miss Roberts for working so hard with our choir and giving the children this opportunity. I know she said she was "out of her comfort zone", but sat in the audience you would never have known.
Whilst I am sure they were disappointed with not coming away with a trophy, I hope they are all very proud of themselves for taking part as it can't have been easy getting up onto such a big stage in a huge arena. I felt proud to be a parent who's child was participating and also proud to be a Governor of the school.
Well done everyone.

Just a very quick message to say how fantastic the updated school website is. It looks fantastic and is a really good reflection of what a wonderful school Ysgol y Llan is. My husband and I are also big fans of the school Twitter pages. My husband works away a lot and misses the tea time chats about the school day but the Twitter photos in particular help to keep him involved and act as a prompt for the children to tell him what they have been doing.
