We’re well into the Spring term now and Christmas seems like a distant memory but we wanted to firstly thank you for all your amazing support last term. With your help we raised;
£199.37 from the Autumn Disco, £908.01 from the Christmas Fair and £164.40 from the Valentines Disco.
As well as providing a fun packed Christmas party for the children with a present from Santa, Friends also paid for the ice-creams at the Pantomime (£136.80) and were delighted to present the school with a cheque for £1,000 for a 3 year subscription to Purple Mash.
Planning is now underway for some exciting events for this term and beyond to continue raising much needed funds for our school. We will be holding a Mother’s day Secret Shop this Friday at 3.15pm, if anybody can offer their time to help out or just come along and support this event by having a cup of tea and piece of cake.
Our next meeting is Friday, 13 May at 2.30pm (in the school hall, hopefully this will mean more of you will be able to attend) so please come and join us as we’ll be making a start on Summer Fair planning! Please remember that being part of the Friends team can be as little or as much as you like, it’s entirely up to you but we’re so grateful for any help you can offer.
