Our playgroup has become very popular and places fill up quickly. We're still on the same site as Ysgol y Llan but in a fantastic new building at the back of the school.
Our current session times and prices can be seen below:

Whitford Playgroup & Wraparound Childcare
Whitford Playgroup & Wraparound Childcare is located on the grounds of Ysgol y Llan, Whitford, and provides high-quality early years education and childcare for local families. The provision forms an important part of the school community and offers a welcoming, nurturing environment where young children can learn, play and develop confidence before starting school.
The playgroup provides care for children from two to four years of age. The setting works closely with Ysgol y Llan to ensure that children experience a smooth transition into Nursery and primary education, helping them to feel confident and familiar with the school environment.
Whitford Playgroup offers a safe, stimulating and well-resourced environment, where children are encouraged to explore, develop independence and build positive relationships. Activities are carefully planned by qualified staff to support children’s development across all areas of learning, including communication, creativity, physical development and social skills. The setting follows the principles of the Curriculum for Wales and the Early Years framework, with a strong emphasis on learning through play.
The provision benefits from access to the excellent facilities at Ysgol y Llan, including outdoor learning spaces and play areas that support children’s curiosity and development. Children enjoy a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities that promote exploration, imagination and wellbeing.
As well as playgroup sessions, the provision also offers wraparound childcare, including after-school care and holiday club provision. This flexible childcare supports working families within the local community and provides continuity of care for children attending the school.
