Well it's Friday already and we are one week into term. Although a newsletter went out before half term, another one will go out today on the usual last Friday of the month.
Recently, we have had some concerns raised regarding parents dropping off children on the zigzag lines outside the school gates. Please note that the zigzag lines are a no drop-off zone! Take a look at the picture on the newsletter as it may make it clear why it is a no drop-off zone! Thank you.
Next week will be our school Eisteddfod. Children can come to school on March 1st wearing Welsh costumes, Welsh football kits, Welsh rugby kits, Welsh colours - it's all about Wales you see!!! They will be celebrating everything Welsh in school and it promises to be a lovely day for them.
Children in Class 4 will be going on their school trip to Spaceport next Wednesday 2nd. If you have not returned your consent form, please do so asap. You can download it from our 'Forms and Downloads' section on the school website.
We are looking forward to celebrating World Book Day on Friday 4th March. Children can get dressed as their favourite book character. I believe that some staff already have their costumes sorted!! If you have not already sent in a picture for the 'Get Caught Reading' competition (book tokens available as prizes), please send it in on Monday or email me a picture to [email protected]
Busy day next Friday - World Book Day celebrations, Class 2 assembly and Mother's Day Secret Shop! A leaflet from the Friends went out yesterday regarding the Mother's Day Secret Shop. Please come along and relax whilst your children go and choose the perfect gift for you.
Have a lovely weekend everyone and I may see some of you this afternoon for an informal meeting at 2.30pm. Hope to see some of you there!
