School Improvement
Each year Ysgol y Llan sets school priorities to ensure continuous school improvement. These priorities are developed based on monitoring completed in the school, professional discussion and national priorities.

| Priority 1 - Improve the standard of writing for all pupils across the school through the development of a consistent approach to planning and provision. |
| Priority 2 - Continue to develop teaching and learning in foundation classes to further promote independence and create opportunities for pupils to use and apply their skills indoors and outside the classroom. |
| Priority 3 - To improve standards in Maths & Numeracy for all pupils by developing a consistent approach to teaching and learning. |
| Priority 4 - Strengthen consistent approaches to Additional Learning Needs (ALN) provision within the classroom to ensure all pupils make strong progress from their individual starting points. |
